According reports from Sky Sports, the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all been handed a huge blow with Real Madrid completing £52.4m (€60m) move for Eintracht Frankfurt superstar Luka Jovic as their first summer signing this window.
According to the Sky report, the 21-year-old Serbia international has signed a five-year deal contract with the Spanish giants, which will earn him a whooping £43.7m (€50m) in total or £8.7m a year.
Frankfurt, on the other hand, will reportedly pay Jovic’s former club Benfica around £10.5m of the transfer fee.
The striker joined the Bundesliga giants on loan from Benfica in 2017 and last month the German club exercised their option to make his move permanent.
This season, the Serbian forward has netted 17 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances this season and has 10 goals to his name at the Europa League, where Frankfurt were kicked out of the competition at semi-finals by Chelsea on penalties.
