Richarlison and Sigurdsson start, Strongest Predicted Everton lineup (4-2-3-1) to face Wolverhampton Wanderers

Everton have the chance to secure a second-straight league triumph when they entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers at Goodison Park on Saturday. The Merseyside outfit have been largely inconsistent with their performances this term but they have the opportunity to leapfrog Wolves into the seventh position with a victory in front of their supporters.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Everton Lineup:

England international Jordan Pickford has been the undisputed shot-stopper between the sticks and he should feature from the off. The Three Lions’ number one can expect a busy evening with Raul Jimenez in a purple patch for the opposition.

In defence, Seamus Coleman should once more start in the right-back role for Everton and he could be accompanied by Leighton Baines in the opposite end. The veteran had recently sustained a rib injury against Huddersfield but he is likely to be deemed fit to make the lineup with Lucas Digne currently serving a one-game suspension.

At the heart of the backline, Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma appear set to continue with Yerry Mina yet to recover from the foot problem. The Toffees have the rare opportunity to bag successive clean league sheets and a strong showing against an in-form Wolves attack would no doubt boost the defenders’ confidence.

Onto the midfield, Andre Gomes has been impressive with his distribution and movement from the centre of the park and the Portuguese should keep his position. Alongside him, Tom Davies may feature once more after a solid performance at Huddersfield last time around. Idrissa Gueye remains a doubt with a groin problem and Silva may not necessarily start him unless he is in the right frame of mind after being denied a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

Further forward, Richarlison is certain to feature in his preferred role on the left side of the attack with Ademola Lookman on the opposite flank while Gylfi Sigurdsson should take up the number 10 position behind the main striker. Richarlison and Sigurdsson have been the club’s top goalgetter with 11 and 10 apiece and the duo should once more hold the scoring burden unless Cenk Tosun has his say upfront.

Predicted Everton lineup (4-2-3-1):

Jordan Pickford, Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Kurt Zouma, Leighton Baines, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Ademola Lookman, Cenk Tosun
